Purchase your domain name

Your domain name is your internet address or URL - for example, mine is www.simplycreative.com. If you don't have a domain already, you will need to purchase one through a domain registrar. At Simply Creative, we use and recommend GoDaddy.com. Their prices are low and their customer service is great.

You only need to purchase domain registration from Godaddy, which should be about $8.95. You do not need hosting, e-mail, or anything else they will offer you during checkout. If you choose to do so, you can make your registration private which means your personal info is not published in the Public WHOIS Database. We recommend this, but it's not required.

Sign up for hosting

Now that you have a domain, you will need a hosting account. Hosting is like "renting" space on the web for your website to be published. We have several hosting plans to fit your needs. You can find out more about them by clicking here.

Most of our customers start out with Basic Hosting. As your business grows and your site traffic increases, you may need to upgrade your plan later.

Purchase your Premade Website

Once you've browsed through our selection of premade website templates and selected the one you like, please contact us to make arrangements for purchase.

Please note that templates are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We are not able to "hold" premade sites or place them on layaway. We accept payments via PayPal, Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

Installation

After your purchase is finalized, you will receive a document that outlines the information we will need to customize your new website. Please return that to us with all requested information so your installation can be scheduled. At that time, we will install your software, integrate and customize your design, and configure your shopping cart so you have a fully functioning e-commerce boutique.

Add Site Content

Next we will turn over the admin console to you so you can add content, including your categories, products, photos and informational pages. We have lots of tutorials to help you, plus we are available to answer any questions you might have.

Once your content is added, you are ready to launch! Congratulations!
