Hello and welcome to our first blog post of 2010. I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and that you are well rested and re-energized for the upcoming year! To kick things off, I thought I would share with you some of the exciting changes I am implementing around here.
I’ve spent a lot of time during the past few weeks doing “business planning” – figuring out what type of clients I enjoy the most, what direction I want to take my business, etc. Although I love working with all types of business, my favorite are small and medium-sized boutiques. I love working with start-ups and work-at-home moms that are expanding their businesses to the web.
Since that is my focus, I decided to revise my product offerings to better suit them. I will still offer the same Complete E-Commerce package that I have always had (including Simple Cart software, web hosting, e-mail set-up, logo and website design, product entry, etc.), but I will be introducing a new, less expensive design package – Basic E-Commerce – for people who are on a tight budget and don’t mind doing product entry and adding page content themselves. This new package will be priced at $2,500.
I will also be offering more premade websites (sometimes referred to as premade website templates). My goal is to put out 2-3 designs per month. These will be one-of-a-kind designs that will be sold one time only. I do not plan to offer “budget” templates that are sold to multiple people. My premade websites will be offered at $2,000-$2,500.
