I’m so sorry to hear about that. I told her to give the domain info… so now i know she owns it… God… So i have to purchase another one… I’m so angry!!! I’m from Mexico and i don’t know how that works… Can you file a complaint??? Or can we do something about it?? To stop this person from doing this… Many more of us are going to pay her and not having anything in return…

I wish I had seen all of this before I hired Avie at Fritzer Designs to do my website and branding. She completely cheated me out of my money. She did provide me with a logo and business card after I had to go through months of repeatedly asking her what the status was and why was she ignoring my emails and phone calls. When it came time to do my website she completely disappeared. I couldn’t believe her lack of professionalism. I did a chargeback on her with my credit card company and as soon as I did that she emailed me and promised me that the “craziness” was over, that she was committed to getting my site done. In the spirit of being forgiving and understanding to whatever was going on in her life I believed her and refunded her the money. BIG MISTAKE. She disappeared again, never returned one of my phone calls. When I got angry she finally emailed me and promised timelines that of course were never met. I’d finally had enough and decided to walk away. I hired someone else and within a week and a half they had 22 pages of mock ups for my site!! What a difference a top notch professional makes!!!

Never again will I be such a sucker. When some gives you terrible service break the ties and move on. She is a scam artist to the highest degree. I’ve never been lied to more times in my life!! LESSON LEARNED.

Hi Tina! Sorry to hear about your experience. That is exactly why I don’t register domains for my customers. I always refer them to Godaddy to register themselves so that they have 100% control over their domain. Hope you get some resolution!

I hired Fritzer Design to design two websites for me a few years ago. I found out that I DO NOT OWN my domain name. I am only the administrative contact and not the owner. The person listed as the registrant is the owner – Fritzer Design, Avie Fritzer. I was told if I wanted my log in information that Avie would not provide, I would have to 1)get the information from the owner – Fritzer Design or 2)purchase a new domain name. How is that possible when I pay the yearly fees? I was forced to purchase a new domain name.

Hi Elizabeth and Linette. I had the same problem with Avie. I payed 1,000 dlls in january. She didn’t communicated with me. I live in Mexico and have no idea if i can file a complaint and what is BBB?

Thanks all…I am in the process of filing a complaint w the BBB and my lawyer is advising me too. I have used up my budget for the site so I can’t pony up for the next leg at this point. I understand the changes I want made are so simple that if I just get the access code i could make them myself. Of course, Avie doesn’t respond to ANY requests. I wouldn’t be so crazy over this if the slideshow on the home page worked! Suddenly it has stopped so you just get a big blank space w my logo. ugh.

Elizabeth, I filed a complaint with the BBB and also with my bank due to the fact that my services were never rendered. If you had a due date set and it has come and gone you too can file a complaint with your bank for a refund. Don’t let this person (company) get you down there are some really great graphic designers out there that can finish your project! Good Luck!

This post was found too late for me too. I purchased a website in May and here it is November and still not completed. She put in a lot of time but what is lacking is communication and follow-through! This has seriously hurt my business. I feel overwhelmed that i am going to have to start this process over!
